Mondays, 10:00 (9:00 central)

To quote former Acting President Glenallen Walken, "It's alright everyone. Breathe regular."

Sorkin fans can rejoice, NBC has repositioned its Autumn line-up, and Studio 60 now finds itself on Mondays at 10:00 (9:00 central) after Heroes.

Huzzah! Eat it, Dr. Meredith Grey! Eat it! You too, Gil Grissom.

Eventually, I hope Studio 60 will have enough strength to battle Grey's and CSI, but for now it's the best thing for it, giving it time to grow.

Thank god. But the far more surprisng move was sending L & O off to die on Fridays:-( But I'm really glad STudio 60 is only going against David Caruso (the worst actor EVER) and CSI Miami now!!

Sad they're going up against Emily Procter though, Ainsley Hayes roxors my soxors even though she's on a bad show. Law & Order didn't surprise me, but you know... that show is very old and got to be expensive to keep a lot of those old actors... it's time. It's also time for ER, but I think they know it with them taking it off mid-season.

Football?

.....What about it?

monday night football is now on espn.
sunday night football is on nbc.
studio 60 is on nbc mondays at 10/9c.

which means jack bauer won't have to shoot anyone in the knee for putting my other favorite show on at the same time as his.

we set now?

This is such a better spot. Yay for NBC on making a smart move (for once)

Well, I'm going to miss the idea of Earl/Office/S60 two hours of TV heaven, but this is a much better place for the show to grow, build an audience, and last for years, and I'm thrilled. Though isn't moving L&O to a new night one of the signs of the Apocolypse?

I think it's a good thing, as I said earlier... after 17 and 13 seasons respectively, it's time for them both L&O and ER to retire, and with their new programming NBC seems to be taking steps to ensure that.

Though I'll probably get beat up for this, I'm a HUGE "Grey's" fan, so I was devestated when I heard the news that "Studio 60" would be up against what I believe to be one of the greatest shows on television right now. (I also hail as a "CSI:" fan, but I can live without that from now on on Thursdays...)

Though I am beyond thrilled I won't have to chose between "Grey's" and "Studio 60" to record on Thursday night, I have NO worries that "Studio 60" will be just fine on Mondays, as Aaron Sorkin IS the greatest screen/teleplay writer ever to live...

Y'know, I don't have many evening engagements, but Monday night's one of 'em. GRRR. No College Dems for me then! ;)

I'm very, very excited about this show. I'm watching Sports Night now, and I'm just feeling really very groovy.
