Cal Shanley

Cal, the lone one-named character, has finally been given a last name: Shanley. So, yay!

In other news, NBC has officially signed Studio 60 for the 2006-2007 season, not that anyone felt much danger of that not happening.

I was willing to give post-Sorkin WW a chance, and did, but mercifully pulled my own plug after my beloved characters all started hating each other. Then with news of Claudia Jean "What's The Census" Cregg being made CHIEF OF STAFF (?!!?!) I'm really glad I was already out.

That said, I've watched the last few episodes this season and it hasn't been awful. But it's not my WW.

I'm still hanging in. Last weeks episode was much better, but I've slowly started to not care about it anymore. I wish I had pretended the show had ended after the fourth season.

Although it hasn't been the same, its still far superior to most of the crap on tv.
