Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

I wonder when we're going to find out about Wes, and any other characters that might be needed for the pilot.

Originally, I was thinking before the pilot, but maybe they're trying to keep it secret?
 

Wes is pretty amazing. I was shocked by the end of the script when I realized he wasn't going to be in every episode.
 

How is it that you have seen the Pilot, is it readily available.
 

Yeah, he feels developed even though he's only there for a short time. Sorkin would be a fool to ditch him for good after developing him that well.
 

That's kind of the point of Wes. The wise old King who passes on and leaves his throne to the prodigal sons, as opposed to the bastard children who threaten to usurp it (a la Ricky and Ron)

Having Wes hang around would negate the whole thing. He's supposed to be an absent character who is gone from the beginning but still possesses much depth.
